ABOUT
GUSTAVO MAIA
MOTION DESIGNER | 3D ARTIST | VIDEO EDITOR
I’m a freelance motion designer from Portugal. I mostly work with motion graphics, but also do 3D modeling and animation, video editing, some sound mixing and more.
My work is usually focused on advertising for broadcast and web, but I also create explanatory videos for products or services, corporate videos for internal comunication, video-mapping, product 3D modeling and rendering.
Apart from that, I’m a certified instructor, lecturing in FLAG one of the major instruction centers in Portugal.
I’ve been freelancing since 2005 and now work close with some of the major adverising agencies in Portugal such as Publicis, Leo Burnett, Fuel, BBDO and more, working for brands like Coca-Cola, BMW, Jameson, Universal Music, Galp, Santa Casa da Misericórdia, Banco Atlantico, Fortaleza and many others.
My personal project is MY MOTION GRAPHICS, a site and youtube channel that host tutorials and some addons that I create like MOTION DROP, THE ILLUMINATI or MY STUDIO.
My tools of choice are Cinema 4D, After Effects, Illustrator, Premiere, Photoshop, ZBrush, 3D Coat, Ableton Live.
